Peter has directed the short film MIKE ARLEN TALKS in 2011. This is a revealing interview  and 24 minute study of a seminal photographer of the nude male form who prefigures the digital image with magazine publishing in the 70 and 80s. The film is available by contacting  pbherbert@gmail.com.

Peter used a camcorder  in the 90/20s to record  live theatre and gigs, many concentrating on the developing career of punk pop musician Kiria (see links page)  where he filmed live in venues at Dublin Castle, Café du Paris, Madame Jo Jo's.

Peter has developed a life long interest in the cinema into a unique Archive collection of rare and in many cases hard to find films from a wide range of subjects, and  directors  including Douglas Sirk, George Cukor, Allan Dwan and Michael Curtiz. Peter is a member of the JUST FRIENDS group and organised AN EVENING WITH THE ACTRESS PEGGY CUMMINS as well as AN AFTERNOON WITH  the UK film costume designer JULIE HARRIS.In 2014  he coauthored  an article interview with the actress Nadja Regin.
